You have just bought yourself a new ski touring equipment and now you want to start at full power in this wonderful sport? If so, the half-day program "My first ski tour - introduction to ski touring" is just right for you!
At the beginning the mountain guide explains the correct handling of the equipment and gives tips on clothing, backpack packing and heat management. And then it starts. On a short ski tour (selected according to the conditions) we get used to the new movement and the material. During the ascent, the mountain guide will demonstrate how to use the ascent aid correctly, what is important for the walking technique and how to make sharp turns.
At the summit we discuss the material management (removing the skins, adjusting the shoes, ...) before we descend into the valley. During the descent we will focus on skiing technique and the mountain guide will give you tips on the correct skiing technique on ski tours.
With this program the basis for the right ski touring is set.
