Bergführer Wipptal Tirol

The magical 3,000-meter mark. There are 574 mountains in Tyrol with a summit height of over 3,000 m, and each of them is special.

As these peaks clearly belong to the high mountains, most of the climbs are challenging. The Kleine Kaserer in Schmirn is particularly suitable for mountain enthusiasts who want to go beyond the 3,000 m mark. With a professional guide, this is also suitable for mountain enthusiasts in good physical condition who "only" have hiking experience.

We start at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level and therefore cover an ascent of around 1500 m. Up to an altitude of around 2100 m, the trail leads us flat into the Kaserer Winkel before we branch off to the left (north-east) and climb up to the Kaserer Schartl (2460 m). From there, the ascent takes us in a south-easterly direction until we join the northern ridge of the Kleiner Kaserer, via which we reach the Kleiner Kaserer.

The descent follows the ascent route.
