The compact 1-day avalanche course begins with a ski tour up the Rauher Kopf (2150 m) in the Schmirntal, where the subjects of touring equipment, track system and sharp turns are covered. After a break at the summit cross, tips and tricks on skiing technique are taught.
Back in the Schmirntal, after lunch together at the Gasthaus Olpererblick, the program continues at the avalanche rescue park. On this "avalanche search training field" we will deal intensively with the search for buried subjects and practice how to react in an avalanche emergency.
