Have you always wanted to climb on ice? But you haven't learned the basics of proper climbing and belaying? You can change that with the basic course "from drytooling to ice climbing".
In St. Jodok, in the Stafflacher Wand, all the requirements are there to get you started. Many drytooling routes are installed there and encourage you to practise. In four days, you will be taught the basics so that you can go on ice climbing tours on your own afterwards.
The basic programme starts in St. Jodok. If the ice conditions are good, we limit ourselves to the Wipptal. If the ice conditions do not meet our expectations, we will move our base to Mandarfen in the Pitztal valley after the first two days. There we can transfer our learned skills from drytooling to the ice in the ice park of the Taschach Schlucht.

Physical and technical requirements: surefootedness, climbing and mountaineering experience is an advantage, but not absolutely necessary
