Drytoolen_St. Jodok

Drytoolen, climbing with crampons and ice axes on rock, is becoming increasingly popular. First of all, it is a lot of fun and secondly, it allows you to extend the ice climbing season a bit, as you are not depending on the temperature or the avalanche situation. In the Stafflacher Wand there is a drytooling climbing garden as well as a multi-pitch area, which was created especially for this (marginal) sport. Depending on the preference of the guests, the right route is chosen together with the mountain guide. Some of the routes are also perfect for beginners who want to get a first impression of this sport. The tours are also suitable for those who want to improve their climbing technique with crampons on rock for the big tours in the Alps. After the first 50 meters at the latest, it is clear that you can climb excellently with crampons on rock. The meeting point for this tour is in the centre of St. Jodok.
