The via ferrata St. Magdalena is a special experience for families or beginners in the Gschnitz valley.
After a safety introduction, the tour starts: Slowly we will get used to the equipment, supervised by the mountain guide. We start with difficulty level A (easy) and slowly improve during the tour. On the via ferrata there are always benches, which we use for breaks and to discuss technical topics.
At the end of the via ferrata, the mystic place St. Magdalena awaits us, with a 700-year-old chapel and a snack station. This snack station is famous for the delicious Kaiserschmarrn, which we will certainly not miss! Afterwards we descend relaxed over the hiking trail to the parking lot in about one hour.
The meeting point for this tour is the car park "St. Magdalena" in the Gschnitz valley.
