The north ridge of the Jaufenspitze, the Jaufenkante, is a perfect climbing tour in steep rock. We travel to just below the Jaufen Pass, and then leave civilization behind us quite quickly. It takes a rather challenging approach path (secured by the mountain guide) to the entrance of the north edge.

The climbing is mainly in the 3rd grade of difficulty, with some short more difficult places in the 4th grade. There comes joy!
The tour ends at a beautiful summit cross, and via an easy via ferrata we can descend relaxed to the parking lot.
