This offer is suitable for everyone who wants to learn the basics of ski touring under professional guidance. The mountain guide will also help you to book the rental equipment (at least three days in advance). On this tour we slowly familiarize ourselves with ski touring at the starting point: Put on climbing skins, set touring ski binding to "walking", check avalanche transceiver - and off we go! Halfway there is the Sattelbergalm. Here we have a short break before we head for the summit cross of the Sattelberg (2115 m). The descent takes us back to the Sattelbergalm, where we will have a longer break with delicious meals. Well strengthened we continue the descent back to the valley.
The meeting point for this tour is at the ski rental in Steinach (bottom station Bergeralm; if rental equipment is necessary) or at the tourers' parking lot under the highway bridge in Gries am Brenner.
